Professor Mary Ann Borrello
For decades, Sister Mary Ann Borrello, professor of social science at Suffolk County Community College's Michael J. Grant campus, has helped to combat the growing problem of hunger on Long Island by holding fundraisers and food drives for needy families within the College community. Through her selflessness and enthusiasm, she has inspired students to volunteerism, instilling in them a sense of pride and gratification in helping others.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF), July 14-August 3, presents the world premiere of Port Jefferson resident and Suffolk County Community College Professor Ed Erickson's comedy Déjà Who? the Thrill of Love and Disillusionment. Featuring SCCC's Almuni; Brian Nee (actor) and Michael Luca (company manager).
